Some remodelling works from January to April, 2020 have been necessary in order to recover the ancient station’s building and then get the Centro de Arte y Pensamiento (Center for Arts and Thinking) ready to be used. Such works have been carried out during both the lockdown and the COVID-19 pandemic.
We have had to carry out the following repairs: walls, windows and doors renovatiom, placement of new window panes, painting, toilets and plumbing, electricity, roof, cornices, gutters, chimney, catch basins, porticoes, garden, Internet connection, furrniture and security.
Regarding to the facilities, we still have to acclimatise the inside with some insulation and heating for the harsh winter.
We must return the microcredits that, alongside the citizens’ voluntary donations, have made the building’s recovery possible at the beginning of the Residence for Artists’ remodelling and preparation.
The concept of ‘economic voluntary work’ is considered as an essential oportunity to give the project some freedom and economic independency.
Some artists have been generously donating their works from the beginning so that we can carry out a crowdfunding campaign in the future.
We need your help and support. We are looking for PEOPLE who are excited to be part of this project consisting in art in nature, critical and positive thinking, building of a culture and education for peace and non-violence. We have been creating an athenaeum all together.
IN SUMMARY:
The crisis we have been experiencing has allowed us to stop and reflect about our lives, helping us in the reaffirmation and also in our need to rethink about our personality, our way of life and our relationship with the world.
We know that we can create positive human values and long-lasting relations through art and artistic practices.

We are looking for people who: are positive, share all of their knowledge, come up with new ideas for the future, care about other’s wellbeing and affection and also generate abundance towards other human beings and also towards our space and territory.
Traductores del Viento was born in a difficult context, during lockdown and COVID-19 pandemic. Everyone has made a great effort, not only us but also those of you who have been supporting us: citizens, cultural professionals, entrepreneurs and both arts and education professionals. And we are so grateful for such generosity.

The Circle of Friends is a community in a constant process of construction, thanks to those people who feel the solidary need to cooperate with both their physical and economic support.
We want to become independent. For that, we need your collaboration and participation. It is essential to understand that we all are a part of CULTURE. A collective culture is needed.
Patronage is a collaborative thinking. It makes it easier for us to develop pedagogy and knowledge transfer from artistic creation and aesthetic education, culture of peace, promotion of respect for life, protection of nature, critical and solidary thinking and mutual appreciation for each other.

As a Cooperative Friend in the project:
Annual CONTRIBUTION, whether individual or family, in order to progress in the pending remodelling issues and make the various projects we will be carrying on throughout this year viable.
Annual individual contribution: 30 € / year
Annual familiar contribution: 50 € / year
